Questions we get about Halchita
Do you deliver propane to Halchita, UT?
Yes. Halchita is in the territory we serve from our yard at Montezuma Creek, UT. We deliver to homes, businesses and agricultural operations in the Halchita area on either will-call or keep-full. Call the office at 435-255-1020 and we will confirm delivery to your specific address before you sign up.
Is a Halchita delivery the same trip as Mexican Hat?
Usually, yes. Halchita and Mexican Hat sit on opposite banks of the San Juan River, so a Halchita stop normally rides the same run. About 33 miles in a straight line from our yard at Montezuma Creek; road miles run longer.
Do I have to be home when the propane truck comes?
Usually not, as long as the driver can reach the tank and any gate is open. If the tank has run completely out of gas, that is different: the system has to have a leak check done by a qualified technician before it goes back in service, and someone needs to be there for that visit.
